About This Project
This was my first client project after joining Bangladesh Associate of IT Solution. I developed a comprehensive accounting and business management system that evolved from an individual client solution into a full SaaS platform. The project was particularly challenging as I had to learn MySQL database design and implementation, coming from a MongoDB background. I also had to understand complex accounting principles and how different financial data interconnects. As requirements changed frequently, I had to adapt my backend logic multiple times, eventually restructuring the application to support multi-tenant architecture for SaaS deployment. The system features a visually appealing dashboard with financial metrics, transaction management, and comprehensive inventory tracking. I also designed the logo and UI/UX in Figma, creating a modern interface with gradient backgrounds and intuitive navigation.
Challenges
The biggest challenge was adapting to changing requirements, particularly the transition from a single-client application to a multi-tenant SaaS platform. I also had to quickly learn MySQL database design coming from a MongoDB background, and understand complex accounting principles to ensure data integrity across interconnected financial modules.

Responsibilities
Backend architecture, database design, API development, business logic implementation, SaaS conversion, UI/UX design (created the logo and Figma designs), and frontend contribution as needed. I also handled the deployment and configuration of the production environment.

The interface includes a motivational quote and user profile information for a personalized experience.

The transaction entry form allows users to record expense and income transactions with detailed categorization. Users can select transaction type, ledger accounts, project, company, and payment method. The system supports document uploads for transaction vouchers, ensuring proper record-keeping and audit trails.
