( Brief )
Susko GmbH started in Hamburg in February 2025 with two founders and an advisor. It automates the manual steps between the tools a business already uses, brings AI into those processes without the data leaving the company's control, and sells ready-made software packages. The website has to explain that to cafés, retailers and service businesses who have never asked for "automation" — and win the first call.
( Approach )
I designed the SUSKO wordmark — wide, cut letterforms with a stadium-shaped O — and built the site around it: pure black, one pink-to-purple-to-blue accent, Geist with Geist Mono labels. The wordmark is the home page's hero and returns in the footer, painted with the accent. Motion is GSAP with ScrollTrigger, SplitText and DrawSVG on Lenis: on the About page nine manual chores — spreadsheets, orders by e-mail, a paper rota — run into the logo as lines that draw themselves while light travels along them, and four outcomes leave it.
Behind the pages: the home page, About with an FAQ, a journey timeline and the team, Products, Careers with job ads, a contact form that sends real e-mail, a newsletter with double opt-in, a SEPA direct-debit mandate that becomes a signed PDF in Susko's inbox, an order confirmation for checkout, and the legal pages. The same repository serves the QR menus for Susko's restaurant clients — Nara, Due Fratelli, Garrison, Cardamom, Goa and Mr. Kao — the pages behind the codes on their tables. Everything runs in German and English.

( Challenge )
A company website is judged in seconds, so the motion had to feel rich without getting in the way, and visitors who ask for reduced motion get a still, complete page. The forms had to be honest — a SEPA mandate is a legal document, so the server checks the IBAN's checksum and the creditor ID, renders the PDF and mails it before it confirms anything. And the QR-menu URLs are printed on physical menus in restaurants, so they can never move.
( Responsibilities )
